New patients are being accepted from most major commercial insurers as well as Medicare and Medicaid.

Dr. Wang offers diagnosis and treatment for a broad range of neurological conditions. He sees patients with headache and facial pain, strokes, seizures (epilepsy), diabetic neuropathy and other neuropathies, dementias (including Alzheimer’s disease), Multiple Schlerosis (MS), and Parkinson’s disease.

I appreciate the opportunity to serve not only you my patient, but also your family. As a Neurologist, my specialities are the diagnoses and treatments of illnesseses of the nervous system. This includes the spinal cord, nerves, muscles, and of course, the brain. The diagnosis and understanding of your illness is often the largest piece of the puzzle. This is where we begin.

First Visit

The first visit begins with our discussion about your symptoms. Other illnesses can definitely affect your nervous system, that’s why a complete medical history and surgical history are both important. Because we use a neurological exam to determine how well your nervous system is functioning, it can differ from the routine medical exams you may be used to with your primary. For instance, I may ask you to walk, jump, stoop or bend so I can evaluate your strength and balance. I may need to check reflexes which can be helpful in evaluating motor function. Finally, I may ask questions related to determining your cognitive status.

Aim for Excellence

I have had many years of education and training in the field of Neurology. I aim to bring my personality, compassion, and depth of learning to the treatment of challenging conditions. I hope my patients feel confident in the care they receive.

Comprehensive Services

My background gives me a broad spectrum of expertise including Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Peripheral Neuropathy, Epilepsy and Stroke. I sometimes perform a range of nerve tests to help with accurate and expeditious diagnosis and treatment of some conditions.

I understand that having a disorder related to neurology can be excessively stressful on the lives of my patients. It is my role to assist you in understanding the psychological aspects of your illness and we will discuss the best ways to cope during what can be a difficult period for not only my patients but also their families.
