It is the beautiful weather and the friendly, family-oriented community that attracted my family to Wichita Falls. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to provide neurological care for the great people here.

Niangui Wang, MD, PhD

Dr. Wang comes to Wichita Falls from his private practice at Capital Region Specialty Surgery in Slingerlands, NY. He is a board certified neurologist and a Diplomat of the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.


Dr. Wang completed his Medical Internship at Nassau University Medical Center on Long Island, NY. He continued his education with a Neurological Residency at SUNY Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, NY and Fellowship training at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.

Dr. Niangui Wang received his MD from the Henan Medical University, Zhengzhou, P.R. China, in 1984. He received a Master of Science in Neurology from Capital University of Medical Sciences, Beijing, P.R. China while completing a neurology residency at Beijing Xuanwu Hospital (BXH). Dr. Wang practiced at BXH until moving to the United States to obtain a PhD in Neuroscience from Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT, and The Rockefeller University, New York, NY, completed in 2000. Dr. Wang completed his internship at Nassau University Medical Center, East Meadow, NY; his neurology residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, NY; and his clinical neurophysiology fellowship at University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester, NY.
